No Frills, Just Food. I came up with the concept after my phone crashed for the third time trying to load up a recipe I found on someone else's site. You know what I'm talking about right? You scroll endlessly on Pinterest to find a recipe so that you can scramble something together for dinner, and then you open up the link to find a 4 page essay on how the recipe came to be. Usually something to do with their Grandma's, dog's, friend's, cousin who was inspired by a rock they found on some random, insignificant beach. So you click the button, 'jump to recipe', only to have your device glitch out because of all of the ads and other bs it has to get through. Or worse, there is no button to skip and you have to keep scrolling hoping the end will come soon so you can just COOK DINNER!!!
I decided that I didn't want to deal with it anymore. I don't want to be constantly slapped in the face with ads and scroll through piles and piles of trash to get to what I want. That's how this site was born. When I say 'No Frills', I mean it. I promise that any recipe posted to this site will never require you to scroll through an essay and there will be no ads to ruin your content. Now for the sake of honesty while we get to know each other, I am an Amazon Affiliate. That means if you purchase anything through one of the links I provide on my page, I'll make a small commission from the sale at no cost to you whatsoever. But rest assured, the only links I'll post will be to things like helpful gadgets that I use in my own kitchen or gift ideas and guides etc.
If you're new here, welcome! I hope this site can provide you and your family a treasure trove of exciting dishes to try as well as helpful information, ideas and inspiration to expand your foodie horizons! All of my recipes are posted under the 'Recipes' tab on the home page, but you can also click here to check them out. As per my promise to never force you to scroll to get to the good stuff, my blog is an entirely separate part of the site where I post all manner of content from kitchen must haves to trending topics in the food industry. With that in mind, if you're actually wanting to find something to read click here to see the blog!
If you've gotten this far, I just want to say thank you for your support and for checking out my little project. I hope you'll stay with me through the journey.
Happy Cooking! xx
